NYRE PLEA FOR HELP!
Due to the weather for New Year's Eve this year, New Year's Rockport Eve did not sell enough buttons to support our event. It is about a $34,000.00 budget to put on this event and not enough people braved the weather to attend. We are not going to meet the budget for this year.
We are making a plea to anyone who might have attended, if the weather was better, to make a donation of the button fee of $15.00. If this is not possible, an extra dollar or two would be greatly appreciated. We would love to say there will be a New Year's Rockport Eve 2009, but without the support of our neighbors it does not seem possible.
